Small distributors often need product-data throughput before a full PIM
Current buyer language around PIM alternatives, catalog management, supplier onboarding, and B2B ecommerce data quality points to a common small-distributor problem: the team is not short on products to sell, it is short on clean, structured, approved product data. A traditional PIM may be useful later, but it can feel too broad when the immediate bottleneck is supplier PDFs, spreadsheet cleanup, ERP item data, missing attributes, weak descriptions, and import templates.
